share my story with a large, public gathering

It's weird(?) to be asked to share my story with a large, public gathering;
yet thrilled(?) that tonight is that night; but excited(?) to hear many other stories of hope; and very, very grateful for the close people in my life who are giving me hope and healing. I hope I will be able to return to you the same kindness.
